We're kicking off 2014 by bringing back this espresso blend, but with new crop coffees.
A lot of our espresso-loving customers say that a shot or two of the densely-sweet syrupy goodness is like gaining an extra life. Well, having grown up with Nintendo-blisters on our thumbs, we think we know what they mean!
This is a 2-bean blend (Colombia & Ethiopia) of all fully-washed in-season coffees, which means that Trish has to roast it just right to nail the right balance of sweetness, acidity, and body. You'll find brown-sugary sweet, green-mushroom acidity (click for more info), with some floral character mixed in, and a clean, sweet aftertaste that will linger lightly on your tongue for a good 15 to 20 minutes. Great as a straight espresso, or in small milk drinks (like a macchiato or cappuccino).
